Funky Place - Lovina (Bali)

We had an amazing time at this funky hostel. the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and shared great local knowledge. the recycled furniture and quirky decorations gave the place a unique charm. We especially enjoyed the later boat trip they arranged for us, where we could canoe in the ocean and watch dolphins without being bothered by multiple boats. It was a truly respectful experience. The breakfast and food in the restaurant were delicious, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for adventurous and open-minded people. Cons: Didn't dislike anything about the property 😊.

I had an very nice experience at this hotel! The staff was amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic. The location was perfect, just 100 meters from the beach. The hotel facilities were great, with swings next to the rooms and a big tree house to relax in. The bar had a great vibe and they even had live music once a week. The staff was helpful, arranged a driver for me when I forgot my passport and even letting me use their private laptop. I can honestly say that this was the best place I've ever stayed at.

Can't fault the hotel in any way.

The majority of staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to help. Close to the beach and plenty of comfortable spots to relax. Good location for drinks with live music.

Gezellige B&B met ruime kamers en vriendelijke gastvrouw. Genoten van het ontbijt in de mooie tuin en de schone faciliteiten. Supermarkt en eetgelegenheden op loopafstand.

The funky style of the furnishings and decorations was really cool, giving the place a unique and fun atmosphere. The bathroom was also stylish and well-designed. the food served in the restaurant was delicious and the breakfast options were great.

The room didn't match the same level of cleanliness and style as the rest of the hotel. It wasn't terrible, but it just didn't have the same good vibes.

The atmosphere was very nice, with live music performances and traditional Balinese dance shows. The location was perfect, just 100 meters away from a fine beach. We particularly loved the swings next to our room and the beautiful tree house where we could relax. The staff was helpful and even arranged a driver to bring my forgotten passport to me in another town. The new manager, Unique, was very kind and even let me use her personal laptop. I would definitely go back to Lovina just to stay at this amazing hostel again.

The local Balinese staff were friendly and made us feel right at home. The rooms had recently been renovated and were very comfortable, with cozy beds. Plus, the hotel was conveniently located close to the beach.

The staff, location, cozy rooms, acoustic artists, and comfortable seating areas were all very nice. The breakfast was decent too.

This hotel has everything you could need! The decor was crazy, the food was lovely, it was clean and was also a great location for the trips! The guy who owns Funky Place is incredible and really helped us sort out a day trip doing the stuff we wanted to do all in one day which was definitely a highlight to our whole trip in Bali! Two nights here was definitely enough though but it was cheap and cheerful so can't go wrong.

Cozy and spacious rooms with fast wifi. Cool bar and lounge area with beer pong and live music. Amazing food and service. Lots of activities to do and tours offered at affordable prices. Beach access and GREAT spa facilities. Canoeing, fishing, snorkeling, diving, and yoga classes available. Definitely coming back soon.
